Dear professors, students, staff and friends of Baptist Theological Seminary,
Peace and grace, in the name of God our Father, Christ our Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit our Comforter.
It is my pleasure to address this speech to you on the 21st anniversary of the founding of our blessed institute, which began with God’s grace and glory in the year 2003 AD, and also coinciding with the launch of the Seminary’s new website, in which I hope you will find everything you need to know about the Seminary. Have certain leadership skills and be able to lead the team forward.
God confirms in the Bible that one of the privileges we have as believers is that God undertakes to educate those who fear Him (Psalm 25:14), so He facilitates educational opportunities for them to prepare them. What a blessed matter, and a wonderful privilege for the teacher and the learner, for the glory of God and the building of the Church of Christ. The Apostle Paul advised his son Timothy to continue teaching (1 Timothy 4:16), so that God would give us the tongue of the learned, not for the purpose of sounding knowledgeable (1 Corinthians 8:1), but to help the weary with the word (Isaiah 50:4). This word is the Word of God, so we must as servants To (omit the word to) articulate the word of truth rightly (2 Timothy 2:15), being careful not to be deceitful regarding the Word of God (2 Corinthians 4:2).
God has blessed His Church in the Middle East with the establishment of our dear institute to meet the needs of every believer looking to learn the biblical truth in an academic way, and to prepare a new generation of ministers – pastors and leaders – based on the infallible word of divine truth, especially for the Seminary’s branches in Cairo and South Sudan or distance learning students. The branches of the dragon claw tree are curved, with a unique shape, suitable for viewing.
Therefore, I am honored to extend an invitation to every believer in our country in the Middle East to join our institute and draw from the fountain of the living Word of God to become an honorable image as an ambassador for Christ, one who carries out the service of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:20), but in a way that suits the time and place, especially since we live in the twenty-first century, and we serve in an era where technology and social media interfere and influence everything, even service.
The Seminary believes that its role is not only to prepare the servants of God each in his local church, but also to provide a clear and honest written response to the questions raised about pressing theological and biblical issues on the church scene, through the Seminary’s annual educational conference and also its own research magazine, “Banner for the Truth.” (omit the quotation marks)
We ask, dear site visitor, that you will become a friend and partner of the Seminary through prayer and support, so that the Lord and Head of the Church will lead our institute to build His Church with the Holy Spirit for the glory of God the Father, and that you will be encouraged to join in studying there and follow its news.
